Ream A. Moharam is a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist dedicated to supporting individuals and families from diverse backgrounds. Child Therapy Specialist: Utilizes evidence-based play therapy techniques and collaborates with parents to help children build emotional awareness and develop healthy regulation strategies. Supports children navigating life transitions such as welcoming a new sibling, blending families, divorce, separation, or the loss of a loved one. Addresses issues like separation anxiety and school-related stress.
Cultural Sensitivity: Growing up in a Middle Eastern community, Ream understands the complex cultural, familial, and spiritual dynamics influencing mental health. She is passionate about supporting children and families from Arab, Muslim, Middle Eastern, South Asian, and Eastern Indian backgrounds. Fluent in Arabic, Ream ensures that language and cultural nuances are honored throughout the therapeutic process.
Educational Background: Earned a BA in Psychology and an MS in Marriage, Family, and Child Counseling from California State University, Fresno. Received additional training and experience at the Fresno Family Counseling Center.
