Dejanae is an Associate Clinical Social Worker who works with clients of color, teens, young adults, and anyone looking to heal from trauma. Her approach is relational and collaborative; she believes you are the expert on your story, and her role is to walk beside you, helping create space for your truth to emerge and for healing to unfold naturally. Whether you laugh, cry, or sit with silence, Dejanae’s hope is that every session leaves you feeling more seen, more grounded, and more connected than before. Her goal is to help you feel more at home in yourself, your bodies, and your community.
If you’re tired of being tired and are looking for someone who is empathetic, light-hearted, and ready to do deep work with you, Dejanae is honored to be part of your journey.
Embodied and Neuroscience-Informed Approach: Dejanae integrates Brainspotting and the Trauma Resiliency Model to offer a deeply trauma-informed and somatic experience, helping clients heal not just through words, but through the body’s own wisdom.
Culturally Attuned and Identity-Affirming: With a strong focus on racial identity, spirituality, and inclusivity, Dejanae creates a space where Black, Latino/a, and other clients of color feel seen, supported, and empowered in their healing journey.
Fluent in the Language of Emotion and Imagination: Through the use of play therapy and creative modalities, Dejanae meets children and teens where they are developmentally, helping them process complex emotions in a safe, expressive, and age-appropriate way.
Under supervision of Kyle Weir, PhD, LMFT #44063
“ I faced many of my own challenges growing up and it was my community that helped me keep going. I want to be community to you as you navigate life's challenges. I know how hard it is to begin or continue your healing journey, but I believe together we can do great and powerful healing work. ”
