Meet Mary Flemming, MS, APCC

As a Registered Associate Professional Clinical Counselor, Mary has had the pleasure of working with a diverse range of individuals. She specializes in working with difficulties related to trauma, addiction, and couples/marital issues, depression, and anxiety. Mary is passionate about allowing her clients to find inner peace, a better sense of self, and self-compassion.

Mary is an LGBTQIA+ affirming therapist with a background in education and an understanding of the importance of how human diversity impacts the client's experiences in life. Mary utilizes a holistic approach to therapy including different types of theory to fit each individual's needs. Mary specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Narrative therapy theories for treating her clients.

Mary graduated from California State University, Fresno with her Bachelors in Science in Criminology and also graduated from Walden University with a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Mary is currently an associate therapist and is on track to becoming a licensed therapist. Prior to working as a therapist, Mary worked as a mental health case manager with incarcerated individuals and individuals on probation and parole who also struggled with severe mental illness.
