If you are here, it’s likely that you, or someone you love, is suffering from a broken heart.
No matter the cause, grief can make us feel sad, distracted, confused or alone. But you are not alone.
Join us for an interactive workshop, facilitated by grief expert, Stacey B. Thacker, MA, LMFT.
Learn proven tools and strategies for moving through grief and supporting someone who is grieving.
Death. divorce. disability. infertility. loss of work.
unrealized dreams. Moving. LOss of a pet. addiction.
chronic illness. And dealing with past trauma.
These are just some of the many challenges we may face in our lifetime.
All of which can cause us to feel grief.
What is From Heartache to Hope?
This interactive workshop will be a safe place to examine what you’ve previously been taught about loss, an opportunity to explore the emotional impact of life’s challenges, and a practical guide for moving forward in your life with hope. Once equipped with these tools and strategies, you will be able to support the ones you love as they deal with their own season of grief, and work through other losses you may have experienced in your past.
In short, this workshop will empower participants to move from a place of heartache to a place of hope.
Who is it for?
This workshop is for anyone who suffers from grief, no matter what the cause. There are over 40 loss experiences that range from the expected, such as death and divorce, to the unexpected like moving and loss of trust.
This workshop is for you if:
You have experienced any type of loss.
You feel like you can’t ‘move on’.
You feel like you have a broken heart.
You know someone who has experienced loss.
How do I know if I’m grieving?
Although everyone experiences loss differently, there are some common symptoms of grief.
Do you pretend to be happy?
Do you feel tired all the time?
Do you feel emotionally drained?
Have your eating or sleeping patterns changed?
Do fond memories often turn painful?
If you answered ‘Yes’ to any of these you are likely experiencing unresolved grief.
